Sparks Family Orthodontics is the best in Charleston! I am a dental hygienist in the Charleston area and being a part of the dental community, I have had the opportunity to get to know many Doctors and offices. I can honestly say that Sparks Family Orthodontics is truly an incredible office and has a staff to match. As hygienist, I am afforded the opportunity see results from many offices and chose to take my kids to Dr. Sparks for a reason. Sparks Family Orthodontics is by far the best place to go if you are considering braces. The idea may seem intimidating, but Dr. Sparks and his team make the entire experience worth it. From the moment you walk in the door, the staff are super friendly and you know without a doubt you’re getting the best treatment. I had an amazing experience when I got my braces and only had them for about a year and a half. It’s important to do as your orthodontists instruct you so that your teeth can become as straight as possible and the length you have to wear them is shortened. In the end, Dr. Sparks and his team will leave you with a smile to remember and I can’t thank them enough.

First off, the staff at Sparks Family Orthodontics creates an environment that is hard to resist. They do anything and everything to make you feel right at home. When I first got my braces, I was a little afraid that I wouldn’t have a good relationship with my orthodontist, but when I went in for my consult, Dr. Sparks and I instantly became best friends. As long as you wear your rubber bands they’ll like you! If you know of anyone searching for a good orthodontist, I highly recommend Dr. Sparks! Dr. Sparks & the staff are phenomenal. They always take their time with you and make you feel very comfortable. One Friday (when the office is usually closed) they even made a special trip to the office for an appointment I needed. One of the staff members came in to the office three different times when I had a retainer crisis while the rest of the staff was on vacation. These are just a few examples of how dedicated they are to their patients. My treatment plan has been intense (to say the least) and Dr. Sparks has coordinated everything with my surgeon and dentist. I cannot praise this office enough. Thank you all! I can never thank you enough.

I was a little nervous when the dentist told me that I had to get braces, but after the first appointment at Sparks Family Orthodontics, I knew I had nothing to worry about and that I was in great hands. From my very first visit, they explained everything – what was going to happen to how it was going to happen. Dr. Sparks was so friendly and made the process so much easier than I ever thought it would be. All the assistants were so nice and they always knew how to calm me down if I was nervous. Overall, I had braces for a few years and it was definitely worth it!!! Now my teeth are straight and my smile is perfect. I wouldn't have wanted to go through those years with any other orthodontist. Period!

As a news anchor and reporter, I spend a lot of time on camera so my smile is very important to me. When I noticed my teeth weren’t as straight as they used to be, I decided to call Sparks Family Orthodontics to learn more about Invisalign. I had braces for more than 4 years as a teenager and like many people, I forgot to wear my retainers to bed during the years that followed. My teeth slowly started to move and it always bothered me. From my very first appointment until now, it’s been a joy to be a patient of Dr. Sparks and his staff. They always make sure I am happy with the way my teeth are progressing, do everything they can to make sure my teeth look great and are the reason my Invisalign experience has been a great one. Invisalign is serious a commitment but it’s definitely worth it. I am so glad I found Sparks Family Orthodontics and I can’t wait until my teeth are brand new!

Our experience with Sparks Family Orthodontics was phenomenal. We especially liked that our daughter received a specialized treatment plan. This practice doesn’t just dole out the same treatment for every patient, but they make sure that the treatment is specific to each patient’s needs. The ever personable staff always ensures that patients are well informed, have optimal comfort and provide the highest quality care. We want to thank Dr. Sparks for going the extra mile for Micah anytime we had emergencies arise, and with his help and expertise, Micah was able to get her braces off in a very short amount of time. We believe he is the best around and would certainly recommend him to anyone. Now, our daughter has a gorgeous smile and is complimented everywhere we go.

Dr. Sparks has been my son and daughters orthodontist over the past year. My son is 17 and absolutely loves Dr. Sparks and all the staff in his office. His teeth look great and he actually misses seeing him on a regular basis. Dr. Sparks works very closely with our dentist regarding my daughter’s teeth. She has a genetic problem where she does not have all of her permanent teeth so at 13 years old she still has a lot of baby teeth. Dr. Sparks has put her mind at ease that when all her work is complete, she will have an awesome smile. He is kind, gentle, reassuring and explains everything in a way that she and I can understand.
